Well, we have had a change of plans concerning our missions trip to Africa. Our group was originally scheduled to go to Nigeria for a two week missions trip but our trip was canceled. At first this was extremely disappointing but we looked at it as an opportunity to continue praying for the Lord's direction. To be honest, I felt a little like the Apostle Paul. Similar to Paul in Acts 16, I wanted to go to Nigeria and reach the people of Africa but the Holy Spirit seemed to be closing the doors. As I stated previously, our group continued to pray and the Lord redirected our plans and focus to the country of Kenya. The Lord has totally blown me away in how He has opened up the doors for us to go and SERVE our brothers and sisters in Kenya. In addition, the Lord has worked out the financials as well. This trip is cheaper than Nigeria and we have been offered free lodging while we stay in Kenya. PRAISE GOD!!! Anyway, please keep us in prayer and pray for the country and people of Kenya.
